Recently Adopted Cats

This page shows some of the cats we have recently placed. We have a constantly changing collection of cats looking for good homes and sometimes a match won’t work out. Also, for our friends who like to follow cats on our site, we hope to let you know what kind of home they have each gone to.

You can also visit with some of our former foster cats and read their success stories.

Even if your perfect cat is in our adopted group, you can fill out our I’m Interested form or contact us at 503-402-8692 to find out about cats that might not yet be on the site.

Even if the cat you want is on this Adopted list, you can find out about cats that haven’t been listed here yet by filling out our I’m Interested form.

Meet Roseanne and Ramona! These sweet tabby sisters are about 12 weeks old. Ziva is a tabby mix and has a personality that just won’t quit! She’ll let out a short meow the instant she’s petted. She’s very affectionate and loves to be in a lap. Continue reading “Matilda & Ziva”

Bronco Billy has been through a lot in the two years he’s been in our care. He had a number of health challenges and has patiently endured all the treatments necessary to repair the damage from his early life on the harsh streets. Now that he finally feels like “top cat” again, his charming and quirky personality has emerged and he’s ready for the lush life he deserves. Billy has endeared himself to all his caregivers (we all adore him!) but now it’s time to find him a forever family and get started on his happily ever after. Continue reading “Bronco Billy”

Simone

Simone-new2

Simone is a sleek and shiny girl who is always impeccably dressed in her trim-fitting tuxedo. She came to ARCF as a very young single mom with five kids. All the kittens have been adopted to their forever homes and Simone is loving the empty nest lifestyle! In fact, although Simone currently lives with other cats and a dog, we think her ideal home will have no other pets, so she can be worshipped as the one and only true diva. Continue reading “Simone”

Violet & Velda

Velda-Violet

Last summer, we were contacted by our rescue friend Jody who is dedicated to helping cats in her Willamette Valley community. She had seen an ad online placed by a woman who was trying to find new homes for numerous cats, kittens, and puppies. The woman was apparently taking in animals from unknown sources and then giving them away. By the time Jody got there the puppies and some of the cats were already gone, but she was able to rescue three young cats; a pair of adolescent “cow kitten” sisters, and a young adult female with Siamese-y blue eyes. Continue reading “Violet & Velda”

Lola

Lola

After spending some time with Lola, we understood why she might have knocked over the TV (see this post); she’s very smart and curious, and we thought she would do best with a feline companion to keep her little mind and body occupied and out of trouble. Because of her quite stunning looks, we received many applications to adopt Lola, and we took our time carefully screening potential adopters. Continue reading “Lola”

Finn (formerly Quinn)

Finn1

Finn was rescued as part of a community cat TNR (trap-neuter-return) project in Clackamas County. There were about sixteen kittens in the group, most not very well socialized. Finn was a bit timid, but he showed interest in making friends with us. He was a bit older than our usual “boot camp” recruits, but winter was coming on and we had a little extra room, so we decided to give him a chance. Continue reading “Finn (formerly Quinn)”

Leroy & Fia (formerly Schroeder & Sylvia)

Fia-Leroy

We heard about ARCF from a fellow Aurora Chorus member, who spoke highly of you! We came to meet the four “S” kittens in January and our hearts were won over. It was hard to choose two since all four were friendly, adorable, and loved each other so much. Continue reading “Leroy & Fia (formerly Schroeder & Sylvia)”

Chester

Kavi and Chester

Chester was surrendered to the county animal shelter as an unwanted stray, estimated to be seven years old. He was a little beat up from living on the street and had a bad respiratory infection, but he had the typical orange tabby personality: easygoing, mellow, and sweet. Continue reading “Chester”
