All of our cats live with volunteers in a foster home where we evaluate them to find out how they interact with people and other pets. Knowing these personality traits helps us choose the best families for our cats, and helps you choose the cat that’s perfect for you. Unless otherwise noted, all cats are FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) negative and have been spayed or neutered.

Animal Rescue & Care Fund, Inc. is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.

Adoption Fees

Our adoption fees range from $50 to $100, based on the cat’s age. When adopting a pair, the adoption fee for the second cat is half the original fee.

Think you want a kitten?

Everyone wants a cute kitten, but kittens grow up rapidly. At 6 months they are not nearly as cute as they were at 8 weeks. They are fully grown at 1 year and can live over 20 years. If you think you want a kitten, ask yourself these questions.
